It’s a family affair!
Wayfaring Stranger has been in the TRF remix queue for too long. After searching Archive.org, looking for another voice to pair with BoHeart, discovered BoHeart’s brother Spinmaster’s CC BY NC version featuring sister Astrid Foster on Soundcloud. A duet is born.
This remix is Spinmeister’s version “as is” with (a) BoHeart’s vocals cut and pasted as call and answer verses and in sync choruses, (b) some bones for accent, (c) some outro and intro Bluemellenium harpoon for color and (c) a questionable outro sax tangent.
Was able to sneak in two Am7add13 brass chords in the outro. Worked Bluemillenium’s harpoon into the mix as an accompaniment instead of a solo.
The dominance of the duet vocals over the remix music is driven by the volume of Astrid’s voice over Spinmeister’s “as is” “no mutilation required” music. Didn’t have stems for a fair and balanced mix.
