What a pleasure to work with a wonderful set of samples from kthugha! i loved both Thebes and faraway, so this track starts with seeds from the slower, mellower faraway sample set and moves to his up-tempo loops and samples cut from Thebes. i also cut up and affected some of his vocal work as well. inspired, i wrote entirely new lyrics and melody around the framework. i could have still used a few more days on this mix, but here it is!
