the real challenge for me here was trying to put together a loop-based drum mix behind the vocals for this, seeing as i had no idea about the bpm as it wasn’t recorded to a click track, and the original had no drums or percussion. i considered doing some live conga backing but that would have been too easy. the rhythm guitar track was good but the cadence on the strum was inconsistent (but good!) so i turned it into a drone and focused the melody around the lead guitar riffin.
