I’ll admit right up top that I was a little bit distracted this week. I’ve been upgrading my streaming setup, and it complicated a few things.

The piano riff that this song was based on originally had a little bit more shuffle on it, but I felt like going in that direction would have dictated how everything was played. Instead, it was the drums that kind of pulled the whole thing into the “whatever this is” that it ended up being.
