I came up with this great, bluesy lick earlier this week that I just couldn’t wait to bring to the stream… and it quickly became an albatross dragging the whole thing down. In hindsight, I think it’s just too busy to sit comfortably in a mix. Could’ve been fixed, if I had the time to take a step back, but it was kind of a struggle to get the feel right.

If anything saves the track, it’s some decent soloing, other ideas feel noticeably incomplete.
