Beat Repeat is a stock plugin that comes with Ableton Live, meant to take drum loops and procedurally produce chopped up versions, with controls for inserting random variations, as well as more advanced controls such as pitch decay and whatnot.

This is what happens when you apply it to a guitar track.

Unfortunately, there is no “clean” version of this track, as I recorded with the effects on so that I could react to them.
