Berimbau

Inverted Silence/Jim Kang

I learned a Brazillian song called Berimbau in an International Fingerstyle class I took a few months ago. I think it’s a traditional song, but at the same time, it has these jazzy chords in the bridge, so it doesn’t seem like it could be over 50 years old. Perhaps it’s a 50-year-old tradition!

Anyway, I enjoy strumming through it while watching TV or DVDs, so I recorded a version of it and put some leads on top.
