A poem I wrote for the kids at my twins elementary school. This week for Earth Day they adopted a whale named “Reflection.” Each child donated a quarter towards the effort. I found the website with the whale adoption program and learned that Reflection, like me, is a mother of three. I thought that was pretty cool. She also has a perfectly symmetrical rear fluke which is how she got her name.

I’m hoping this lovely lady will help break the writers block I’ve been having for a long time.
