Strange Contemplations (Pell)
PorchCat
Pell recording of the poetry written for the Strange Contemplations remix.
It has been centuries,
since Man has touched the stars.
We are out among them,
wishing we could shine,
hoping to find mysteries,
hoping to find ecstacy,
among the twinkling eyes,
of the endless sky.
I float silently,
propelled by momentum,
though the endless black,
between galaxies.
It gives me time to think.
And think.
And think.
And dream.
In the gulf between worlds,
the abyss between clusters,
odd vibrations affect the mind.
Alone in my capsule,
I drift towards the light,
consumed by strange contemplations.
It has been centuries,
since Man has touched the stars.
We are out among them,
wishing we could shine,
hoping to find mysteries,
hoping to find ecstacy,
among the twinkling eyes,
of the endless sky.
I float silently,
propelled by momentum,
though the endless black,
between galaxies.
It gives me time to think.
And think.
And think.
And dream.
In the gulf between worlds,
the abyss between clusters,
odd vibrations affect the mind.
Alone in my capsule,
I drift towards the light,
consumed by strange contemplations.
