I had initially made this beat to send in for some demo’s, but I thought it sounded a bit too “un-hip-hop” so I decided to take it and reconstruct it around this vocal, which I really find myself agreeing with.

The track was all done digitally on Ableton Live 6 and then the vocal was added and I just mixed around it.

*IF YOU’RE HAVING TROUBLE GETTING THE TRACK TO PLAY JUST TRY AGAIN, IT DOES END UP WORKING IN ONE OR TWO TRIES.

Actually, just download the MP3 and play it in a browser, that works much better.
