I had come up with a really cool blues riff, but it really needed vocals. I found Scomber’s “Bondi Blonde” acapella quite by accident and the instant I heard it I knew that it would fit beautifully. Before listening to the actual “Bondi Blonde” tune I incorporated the vocals and fleshed out the track…only then did I listen to Scomber’s version—which is quite cool and a totally different style than mine.
