I’m honored to present this remix to you. It was a great privilege to work with J.Lang. I was treated with the utmost respect throughout the entire process, and would definitely recommend working with him!
For this remix, J.Lang provided the bulk of instrumental material: the bass line, the rhodes keys, and the original beat. Musically, all I added were some pizzicato strings during the verses. I supplemented J.Lang’s beat with the Drumatic 4 VST and a snare from musicradar, and shuffled it a bit for the hook.
Mixing the material was an educational process for me — I learned some new ways of expanding stereo sound to enhance the music while balancing it with the vocals. I will always be grateful for this opportunity.
